Information in PGRDEU:
53 accessions are conserved in the German Genebank for Grapevine. For this accessions, the user receives the information, when the plants have come into the collection, the country of origin, colour of the berries etc.

Furthermore the user gets information on the project “Securing the Viability of the Wild Grape Vitis vinifera L. ssp. sylvestris C.C. Gmel. in the old Rheinaue wetlands through targeted In-situ-Management” (2008-2013), that was promoted by BLE with funds from BMEL.
The data provided describe the populations detected in the project. The user receives information about the geographical classification (Baden-Wurttemberg, Rhein-Neckar-district), on the location (floor: Pararendsina; Vegetation: hornbeam forests (Carpinion Association), oak-hornbeam forests; former use: coppice), about the origin of population (native), risk factors at the site (lack of sites for germination and establishment, forestry and nursing measures, browsing), on measures at the site (promotion of natural regeneration, protection of existing wild grapevines), number of individuals at the site (81) etc.

Information in FGRDEU:
The species is processed in the following provinces: Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland (Research Institute for Forest Ecology and Forestry Rheinland-Palatinate, Dept. Genetic Resources and Forest Tree Breeding.).
For Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland two stocks are stated.
